Running Password Reset USB

Insert your USB Thumb-drive
Make sure your system is completely powered off
If using the computers Power button, hold it down until the computer shuts down to avoid putting it in Sleep mode
Power your system back on & immediately tap the F2, F10, Del or Esc to enter your BIOS setup
The initial splash screen will tell you which key to use
Change UEFI BIOS to Legacy BIOS mode (for systems shipped with Windows 8 or 10)
The examples below show how this setting appears on some systems, yours may be different
If you don’t have Legacy mode, disable Secure Boot instead (this may be in the Security section) If you don’t see any UEFI or Legacy settings, you can skip this step and continue below
Change your Boot order so the USB is set first in the list, before the hard drive
This will allow your system will start from our reset tool, rather than Windows
Use F10 to save your changes & restart your system
When the boot device starts you will be taken to the Windows Desktop shown below
Double click the Password Reset icon
The program will display a list of your usernames
Click & highlight the username from the list
It will become highlighted and the Remove password button will then become clickable
Click the Remove password button
Now enter the Activation Key available below
Click OK when you have entered the correct key
Now click the Save changes button
Exit the program by clicking the Exit button
If you exit the program and the following message appears click the Yes button
The password for the username you chose to reset has now been removed
Double-click the Shutdown button on the bottom left of the screen
Click the green Restart button on the right
Remove your boot device from the computer
Now you can login to your windows installation without entering a password
